Quality Lab – We do LOI (Loss On Ignition) testing on our sand mixes. This test will show if the sands were mixed with the correct percentage of binder for each job. We also have the ability to perform tensile/strength and core hardness tests upon customer request. Tensile will show you how strong the core/mold will be. The core hardness test determines the surface hardness of the core.
